Condolence: Remembering AL:
Car relays,the shack, being together, Ruth & Al loved that so much.
Great Visits with Ruth and Al for the weekend we shared up at their cabin (CALLED THE SHACK)
Al always pitched right in, when we visited Linda & I were helping too, fixing cars, etc., anything (which was usual). But Linda and Al could not plant trees together. Remembering, you have to laugh, Linda would always end up with getting hit on the noggin, by Al.
Another time is when Al and I were cleaning the outside chimney. A bottom cover that I tried to get off, would not budge, all of a sudden off it came!!! IT covered Al’s head with soot and he looked like a black person!! - Al Jolson. We found it hilarious but Al didn’t.
I could go on… about the great husband & Dad but everyone that knew him knows that, it goes without saying.
AL WILL BE SO MISSED! But we are all better off by knowing him. I know what he is doing right now, he is looking down at us.. DRINKING A COFFEE!!
In another time,sometime in the future, I know we will be together & we will drink coffee. We will laugh and we will tell jokes again ... and we will laugh LIKE BLAZES!
To a great brother in law, Al. My thoughts and prayers are with you today, Ruth and family…. even though I can not be there to celebrate Al’s life, I am with you in spirit.
