My thoughts are with the Barr family today as they celebrate the life of Larry Barr. You celebrate his life with stories and memories that will stay with you in your hearts. My fondest memories was my visit to Uncle Larry and Auntie Pat's farm in Napanee. His love for the farm, his chickens and of course his family sticks in my mind.
Uncle Larry was the most caring, generous, thoughtful and I am glad to have known him. You will be sadly missed Uncle Larry...

Condolence: Dear Pat, Jim, Jennifer, & Cam:
My heartfelt condolences to your family with the loss of your dear husband and father. I have very fond memories of our time working together with Larry as my boss from 1990 to 1995, and Jennifer joining our sales team in 1992. I've often referred to him as a sweetheart of a gentleman, being born on Valentine's Day. How he would love it as I would bring in Nanaimo Bars in celebration, when our sales team met our sales targets. I feel blessed to have heard many of his humorous stories and am appreciative of our 5 years working together. I send hugs to you, Pat, Jim, Jennifer & Cam. I'll be thinking of you all on Nov. 4th as you celebrate his full life. Sandra xo

Condolence: Dear Pat (Mrs. Barr), Jim, Cam & Jennifer,

Larry (Mr. Barr) was a very memorable person, mostly because of his fantastic and somewhat twisted sense of humour that I know he passed on to his children. Growing up a neighbour and a friend of the Barr Family was a great experience. Whether hanging out at the house on Rumsey or going to the cottage, those times hold a special place for me and Larry was a big part of that. Because your family means so much to me I feel especially sad for your loss and I want you all to know that I am thinking of you. My deepest sympathies.

Love,

Jennifer

When I joined Greenshields in 1977 Larry took me under his wing and never let go.
I could not have asked for a better mentor or friend.
I have nothing but the fondest of memories filled with laughter and gratitude.
I sincerely share in your loss.
