Barr, Larry Ross. At age 82, Larry passed away at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, October the 25th, 2017. Survived by Pat, his loving wife of 58 years, and their children Jim, Campbell (Sue) and Jennifer. Predeceased by sisters Mary "Tink" Nicholson, Julia "Tody" Frame, Archina Linhares, Christina Smith, Donna Mills and baby Louise Barr. As fate would have it two young boys, Gordon Hutton (Bev) and Ken Wai (Jennifer) became part of the extended family as brothers. Ken Wai predeceased Larry, Gordon lives in San Jose, California. Larry loved his large extended family without reservation and with great joy. We were loved.

Pat and Larry travelled the world together. Larry was an avid angler and caught everything there was to catch from the Arctic to the Amazon. Other pursuits included his dogs, hybridizing daylilies, keeping chickens at his beloved farm, reading, telling very long stories, bird watching, and many others all of which he was able to completely immerse himself in.

Larry began his 45 year career in the securities industry selling municipal bonds in the 1950's, and went on to spend 25 years in sales management across Canada. Larry finished his career working as an Investment Advisor with his daughter Jennifer for 9 wonderful years.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held at Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 1-3 p.m.
