Condolences

Condolence From: Carol & Rick Vesters
Condolence: We have only just heard about Jack's passing and are very saddened by the news. Please accept our late but sincere condolences. Although our relationship with the McPhersons started through the furniture business, our memories of Jack go way beyond to include a few great visits to Napanee which included lunch and annual furniture show sessions which involved most importantly the 'horse quarter' exchange. All year we would collect centennial quarters for Jack's collection and he would make a big show of pulling out a wad of cash to pay for them. We will forever remember him with fondness.
Love, Carol & Rick

Condolence From: Joe Critelli
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with the McPherson family,
Passing by Napanee Ontario, visiting the Toronto furniture market, or working the showrooms in our family store, there are so many things that we continue to do that I certainly hope remain influenced by Jack and the McPherson family. All 3 generations of Critelli's were very fortunate to conduct our business with Gibbard, Jack, his family and valued employees.
Myself, sister Misette Critelli and father Tom Critelli will always appreciate the business relationship and friendship we enjoyed with the McPherson family for so many years.

Condolence: Our heart goes out to the Macpherson family at this time. Though I new Bruce better than Jack, our business relationship went back to the early 1970s when my father first started selling Gibbard furniture. When I toured the factory in the early 90s, there was pride among the people there. A great product and a great family. Both will be missed.

Condolence: Every kid should have an uncle like Jack! He was fun, funny, kind, thoughtful and interested in everything you had to say - always. I have countless wonderful memories of him!
I will miss seeing him wave goodbye from the front door of their house, as he always did; auntie Beth at his side.
Love you forever, uncle Jack!!
Much love to Auntie Beth, Janet, Pam, Bruce, Tim and their families. I promise he will never be forgotten.

Condolence From: Sarah Alkenbrack
Condolence: There are few people in the world like Jack. I can't even begin to recount the wonderful memories I have of him. I was fortunate to grow up on the same street as him and can't EVER remember a time when he was not making us laugh or cracking a joke. He made the world a better place because he was so happy, kind-hearted, caring and extremely funny. As a child, I loved to see my dad's face light up telling stories about Jack and the crazy things they did together. My dad ADORED Jack, as did our entire family. Jack was many people to me: my dad's first childhood friend, my uncle's brother, my friends' dad, my neighbor, and my friend. Kevin and I both adored him and are so sorry that he had to leave the earth so soon. We are thinking of all the McPhersons at this time and are so sorry we can't come home to Napanee for the funeral.

Sincere condolences,
Sarah Alkenbrack, Kevin Batteh, Zahra and Stella
