Minaker; Roland George "Rollie" - Peacefully at his home in Kingston surrounded by his loving family, after a very brief illness on Sunday, July 12, 2009, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Edith (nee Albertson) and loving father of Katherine Thompson (John) of Barrie and Michael (Julie Clark) of Sandhurst. Cherished "Pompom" of Alex, Andrew, Jessica (Tyler) & Brandon. Dear brother of Faye Jyde of Moscow; the late Phyllis Henderson & Ken Minaker (Brenda) of South Bay. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd, Kingston, K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
