Condolences

Condolence From: John Patrick
Condolence: To the family of PHIL TREACY

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the recent passing of Phil.
I had not seen him in quite a few years now, but I have many fond memories
of the ole days around the M center when all we needed was a hockey stick and a tennis ball to happily put in the hours.
Phil was a character without question but he was a likeable guy and I remember sharing many laughs with him in our younger days.

. I will never forget the night I was asleep at my cottage with my family when at about 1:00am someone in the dark was bent over my bed shaking me, saying wake up wake up ! As I opened my eyes there was Phil about a foot from my nose ( beard and all) ,man that was quite a wake up call . LOL

The amazing part is, it was pouring rain like cats and dogs and he walked about 3 miles along highway 2 then a mile in our cottage road in the pitch black dark, opened the unlocked door and found me in bed. He had a few toddies in him as well so how he ever found my place only God knows.

He says I got stuck in the ditch down the road can you pull me out.

I said O K lets go so I drove him back to his vehicle . Unfortunately the ditch he was stuck in was actually about 6 feet lower than the highway so needless to say the car stayed there for the night and I drove them back to town. We had many laughs recounting that story over the years that's for sure.

There is nothing anyone can say or do to remove the pain of loosing a loved one but I thought sharing this story might bring a smile at this sad time.

Phil: keep your head up and your skates sharp, see you on the other side REST IN Peace

Sincerely

John Patrick
