Stewart; Olive Marion (nee McKay) - Olive passed away on Saturday August 18, 2012 in Amherstview, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents Mr. & Mrs Charles McKay. Olive came from a large family of five sisters and three brothers. Beloved wife of the late John and predeceased by her daughter Nancy Sullivan (Ivan). Loving mother of Sharon Kaye and her husband Alan of Amherstview, ON. Dear grandmother of Tracy Kaye of Stevensville, ON. and Brian Kaye (Negar) of Kingston, ON. Caring Great Grandmother of Dylan Kaye of Kingston, ON. Aunt of Lynne Church (David), Arthur, and David all of Halifax. A dear friend of Pat Proctor of Halifax, and Georgina Mohan who Olive considered a daughter. Also remembered by great nephews Mark (Denise), Bruce Church, and Ben McKay all of Halifax. Olive retired from Canada Post, Halifax in 1983 after 22 years. An avid reader, a member of North West Seniors Club in Halifax, a charter member of St. Philips Church of Halifax (named changed later to Church of the Apostle). Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 593 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 3:00 p.m As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
