Thomas; Murray Dale (Retired OPG) - Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital after a brief struggle with Cancer on January 1, 2013. Murray Thomas in his 69th year. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Keitha. Much loved stepdad to Chris Lipsey and Amy Ruttan. Cherished grampa to Ben (Kasey) and Alex. Great grampa of Annaleigh. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Myrtle and brothers Royal and Max. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Marjory Allen (Denver, CO) and Bill (Blenheim), sisters-in-law Cathie Vick (Dennis) and Billie Green (Doug). Will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, dear friends, co-workers and fellow golfers. The Family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home “Kingston Chapel” (980 Collins Bay Rd at Taylor Kidd Blvd, 613-634-3722) on Saturday January 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday January 6, 2013 at 2 p.m., the Venerable Bill Clarke officiating. Interment to take place in the spring at Deseronto Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque to St Thomas' Anglican Church or the Charity of your Choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
