Croft; Melba Joyce (nee Layte) - Peacefully at the Helen Henderson Care Centre, Amherstview on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Croft. Loving mother of Florence Lockwood, Maureen Croft, Vera Knott (Stephen) and June DeMers (David Roff) all of Kingston. Caring grandmother of Tracy (Ray), Kim Debney, Mindy (Dwayne), J.J. (Sean), Nicole (Richard), Andrew, Blayne (Jackie) and Julianne. Dear great grandmother of Andrina, Hannah, Madison, Amber, Sumyr, Michael, Matthew, Kayla and Ciara. Also remembered by her brothers & sisters in Newfoundland and her extended family in Woodstock, Ontario. Predeceased by her sons-in-law Joe DeMers and Jim Lockwood. A private family Funeral Service was held in the Chapel of the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd, Kingston, K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722).
