SAMPSON, Kenneth Murdock- At the age of 64, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2012 at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Loving husband and best friend of Irene (nee Langille). Devoted father of son Shawn (Shelley) and daughter Laura Tuepah (Dave). Beloved "grandpa" of Alexander, Zachary and Keelin. Loved son of Muriel Cowie (late Sam Cowie) Halifax, Nova Scotia and late Joseph Murdock Sampson. Predeceased by infant daughter Patti-Anne. Ken worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and coached boys and girls rep softball but his primary passion was for his family. His grandkids Alex, Zach & Keelin were his pride & joy. Irene and family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at Ottawa Heart Institute for the exceptional care Ken received over the last 4 weeks. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd at Taylor Kidd Blvd, 613-634-3722) on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Donations by cheque to the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
