Nicol; John Edward - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday December 16, 2009 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Livingstone). Dear father of John G Nicol (Geraldine), Kingston. Sadly missed by his grand-daughter Sarah Nicol, Kingston. Survived by his sister Grace MacPhee, Florida and his brother James, Florida. Predeceased by his sisters: Mary Trenchard, Flora Gendron and Katherine Graham. Fondly remembered by his many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd, Kingston, K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Friday December 18, 2009 from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass from Lady of Lourdes catholic Church, 490 days Road on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Cataraqui cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
