Black, John Nelson peacefully at his home, Kingston on Tuesday July 26, 2011 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Alma (nee Taylor). Loving father of: David (Linda), Toronto; Allen (Jane), Ottawa and Barbara Black, Toronto. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Kendra (Tim Nagel), Liam, Michael, Peter & Alex and his great grand-daughter Madeleine Nagel. Predeceased by his sister Joyce Brown of England. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd.) Kingston, ON - K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Wednesday August 3, 2011 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. A Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre will follow the service followed by a gathering at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 560, 734 Montreal St. at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society would be remembered with appreciated by the family.
