Lenning, Joan Bessie (nee Denny) - Passed away quietly at St. Mary’s on the Lake Hospital on October 26, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Douglas James Lenning. Joan is survived by her son, James Douglas Lenning, her daughter, Sandra Jean (Wayne) Goodyer, her grandchildren, John (Susan) Goodyer, Michael (Jennifer) Goodyer, Adam Lenning, and her great granddaughter Emerson Goodyer. The family extends its deepest thanks to the remarkable staff at St. Mary’s for their wisdom and their care. Dr. Pinkerton, and the staff at The Cancer Centre at Kingston General Hospital and the nurses of St. Elizabeth’s provided support and guidance to Joan and the family throughout her illness. The family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made to to St. Mary’s on the Lake Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel".
