Kerr; Jennie Edna Victoria (nee Willard ) - Jennie passed away peacefully with loving family by her side, at Arbour Heights on Tuesday August 23 just 24 days before her 101st birthday. Jennie was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Ford Kerr, in April of 1987. They lived in Petworth all their married lives and Jennie continued to live in their home until just prior to her 99th birthday. Devoted mother to Doreen Gowdy, Ottawa; Everett (Joanne) Port Perry; Garry (Sharon), Odessa; the late David (Joan), Petworth; Vivian Sallans (Dan), Ottawa; Gale Davison (Doug Ready), Manotick; Linda Tyne (Greg), Kingston; Laraine Clancy (Earl), Amherstview; Dianna Rayner, Kingston; Rick (Tanya), Harrowsmith. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in Ontario, Alberta, B.C and Austria. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, long time friends and neighbours. Jennie was a daughter of the late Alfred and Charlotte Willard of Amherst Island. She was predeceased by brothers: Charles, John, Frederick, Hiram, Claude, David, Monroe, and sisters: Marion Eves, Jessie Ellerbeck, Annie Clyde, and Dorothy Laffrenier. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Friday August 26 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
