Jean was a wonderful spirited backbone and experienced guide for the Ontario Community Newspapers Association for so many years, so long ago, both as a long director and executive. The best of Jean; her shoes. Never in my entire life have I met someone with that much classiness, that was matched by her choice of shoes.

To all the Morrisons, Biers, Sawyers and friends, my wife and I offer our heartfelt condolences. Jean’s was a life well-lived and you all must be so proud of her. She and Earl were friends with my mum and dad in the old OWNA, and Earl land Mac served on the board together. Jean and I worked on the OCNA board together and she succeeded me as OCNA president in 1987. What a powerhouse she was , yet kind and genuine as well. And, fun fact: Jean’s sister was my high school math teacher in Tilbury. My hope is for her steady influence and your own memories of this wonderful, accomplished woman sustain you through the years. / Terry McConnell, Edmonton.
