Dupel, Jean-Jacques – Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the age of 61 years. Jack leaves behind his wife of 39 years Mary (McManus); his son Sean (Lorri Beauregard); his daughter Lise (Travis Hannah), and his much loved grandsons Jack and Declan. Born in Ottawa and raised in Montreal, the only child of the Late Gaston Dupel and the Late Georgette Payer. Following a career as a medic in the Canadian Armed Forces, in which he served both at home and as part of Canada's Peace Keeping Forces abroad, he worked at the Kingston General Hospital until his retirement in 2008. A Liturgy Of The Word will be held at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Tuesday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. Rite Of Committal Prayers will follow at St. Linus Cemetery, Bath. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
