Parsons; Gordon Alexander (R.C.N. Veteran of WWII) - Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, November 19, 2010 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 67 years to Margaret (nee Clements). Loving father of Gordon (Late Jane), Eric (Ann), and Ian (Chris Brown). Adored grandfather of Amy (Mike), Katie (Rob), Kenny (Alicia), David (Leila), Sean (Melissa) and Allison (Tom). He was the very proud Grumpy to 10 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Hazel Hannah (Percy) and predeceased by his brothers William (Bill) and Henry. He will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 10 -11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Gananoque Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
