Colditz, Gerhard Oskar - Passed away at home on Thursday, June 24, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer in his 84th year, with his wife, Ruth (nee Boehme), and his son, Werner, beside him. Gerhard, son of the late Oskar and Hilda Colditz, is survived by his sister, Liesbeth Hoppe, and nephews Bernhard and Wolfram Hoppe and their families. Also, Gerd Richter (nephew of Ruth), his wife, Gale, and their families. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CanCare Health Services, to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kingston, or to Cancer Research.
