Burgess; Dean Whittle - Passed away peacefully at St Mary's of the Lake Hospital on March 9, 2013 with family by his side at the age of 87. Cherished husband of Mildred Burgess (nee Jackson) for 65 years. Loving father of Leonard (Edith), Linda (Bob) Greenaway, David (Barbara), Joyce (Jeffrey) Ray and late Daniel (bereaved wife Cheryl Joyner-Porter). Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great grandfather of several. Survived by sister-in-law Geraldine Burgess. Predeceased by siblings William, Ray, Glenn and twin Jean Burgess. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home “Kingston Chapel” (980 Collins Bay Rd at Taylor Kidd Blvd, 613-634-3722.) on Monday March 11 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday March 12 at the City Christian Center (at Woodbine and Collins Bay Rd) with the Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Gideons or St Mary's of the Lake Hospital Kingston.
