Dagenais; Carmen Yvonne (nee Rochon) - Peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 80 years of age at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital. Cherished mother of Lisa Dagenais and Brian Dagenais, both of Kingston. Treasured Memere of Kelly and Michael Thompson. Adored god-mother of Diane Lavergne (Danny). Loved sister of Lucille Parent, Roger Rochon and Lionel Rochon, all of Ottawa. Predeceased by her sisters Diane Lanthier, Muriel Labelle and Louise Rainville. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. At Carmen's request, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd at Taylor Kidd Blvd. Kingston, 613-634-3722) on Thurday December 27, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. for a reception to celebrate Carmen's life. Please use North entrance. A sharing of memories will take place at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made by cheque to UHKF - St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital Palliative Care Unit with appreciation by the family. Carmen was a vibrant lady, please wear bright colours in honour of her love for life.
