Peacefully at his home in Odessa with his family by his side on Thursday May 27, 2010 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Mary Knight of Syracuse N.Y., Linda Ohlke of Yarker, and Elizabeth Gutheinz of Kingston. Caring Grandfather of Scott, Ryan, Ashley, Katherine and Charles. Dear Great Grandfather of Morgan, Delaney and William. Also remembered by several neices and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Gutheinz and Theresa Henning (Late Oscar). The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 10 - 11 a.m followed by a Liturgy Of The Word in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Killian Cemetery, Ardoch on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
