Born January 3, 1921, passed away peacefully at Billings Lodge in Ottawa with her family by her side on Tuesday April 16, 2013. Predeceased by her husband Robert in August of 2011. Brenda (nee Connolly) cherished mother of Beckie Harrison (Brian) of Ottawa; Stephanie Hook (James) of Sydenham; Bob (Mina) of Campbellford and Brenda Murphy (Chris Burke) of Dunrobin. Much loved Nanny of grandchildren Emily, Ben, Lauren (Jeremy), Sean, Brian, Jeffery, Jessica and Sarah. Great grandmother of Grace Lazar. Sister of Edward Connolly (Marion) of Wolfville Nova Scotia predeceased by her sisters Sheila, Christina, Florence, Lillian, and brothers Basil, and Anthony. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd.) Kingston ON - K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Friday, April 19 from 12-1 pm. Liturgy of the Word to follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Reception to follow. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations to Martha’s Table Community Program will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
