Mary-Jane Bays (Vanderwyk)

Bev and I both attended Vanier Public School and quickly realized we had the same twisted sense of humor. You could always count on Bev to lift your spirits if you were feeling down. Where there was Bev, there was fun, lots of crazy antics, and loads of laughs - no time for bad moods. I have been trying to reconnect with her for several months now, without success. I had no idea she was battling this horrible disease and/or living in the Kingston area. It was purely coincidental that I found out that she was within reach all this time. I regret not having tried harder to find her. It would have been awesome to catch up with her and get to know the person she had become and to meet her family. I was shocked and very saddened to hear of Bev's passing. She will surely be missed by all who knew her. Although I am unable to attend the services, I will be thinking of her and her family every minute. My sympathies to all those she loved and left behind. Regards, MJ Bays
