Carmeta and I attended high school in Barbados at the same time - The Modern High School - as teenagers.  We were close friends and spent many vacations together with her family at their country homes here in Barbados. We remained in contact when we were both working and travelling in different countries, but not very often.  However in later years we were able to visit each other either in Barbados or Canada on several occasions, which were quite memorable.

I was very sorry to hear of her passing, and wish to extend my condolences to her family.
