On St. Patrick's Day last year Geo made an incredible journey to see his beloved Blackhawks play against the Buffalo Sabres. The four tickets were a Christmas gift from the family and Geo counted the days until the game. After a lengthy stay in hospital mid February his health deteriorated quickly and we were worried Geo would not be able to attend the game. He determination and stubbornness ensured that he would not miss this game. We have very found memories of that day and even though the Hawks didn't win, Geo didn't care, he was in the stadium, cheering them on. His bucket list was complete!
