The first time I ever met Stewart, I was living in Camden East.  I was heading for the post office one day in the spring of 1986, and while crossing the bridge, saw a fellow I had never seen before.  He began chatting like he'd known me forever, and I am saying to myself "who is this guy?".  Turned out it was Stewart, the friendliest man I have ever met, and thus began a long friendship between my husband Ross, myself, Linda and Stewart.  He always had a chocolate bar in his pocket for my granddaughter Kayley, and my daughters and granddaughter grew to love him also.  

Camden East will not be the same without Stewart's friendly greetings.
