My husband Allan Gurnsey and myself- Rev. Jean Brown have many fond memories of Ralph from a time we did supply ministry at Selby and Empey Hill United Churches.    There we met many fine people- and of course Ralph Hudgins.  We enjoyed talking with Ralph about his faith in God, sharing stories, and eating tomatoes from his famous garden.  He shared them with everyone.  We kept up our friendship witih Ralph by  visiting with him  and Lona at the Anglican Church lunches on the first Sunday of the month, and sat with them on Thurs. Feb. 2 of this month. How we marvel now at that visit and the joy expressed by  Ralph and Lona  at that time. It's a reminder to us all how precious is the gift of time- a gift from God to be used to the glory of God.
