Condolence From: Dan Hunter
Condolence: Wayne taught me in Grade VIII at Westacres School, Applewood Acres, Mississauga in 1956-57. Some of us were fairly rowdy, but Wayne always treated us fairly and with an excellent sense of humour. I met him again 50 years later and he looked exactly the same +50!
He was one of my very favourite teachers and I mourn his passing.

Condolence: To Wayne Tompkins' family,

I was very sad to read about Wayne's passing. I was very fortunate to work for the Leeds Grenville Board of Education while Wayne was our Director. I always appreciated his leadership and as the years went by I realized how much I had learned from him. He certainly leaves behind a wonderful legacy.
