Condolences

Condolence From: Elizabeth McKee
Condolence: How sad to hear of Mr. Kuisma's passing. I remember him from Chemistry in the early 70's. He was kind, funny, firm, intelligent, all the best things a teacher needs to be. He taught us lab safety and all the secrets of electron-positron attraction, methyl-ethyl-propyl-butyl alcohol and the magic of combustion. One of my favourite teachers.

Condolence: With sadness I read about Mr. Kuisma's passing. As a student at Ernestown in the later 60's, I certainly remember his classes. He made a difference in my future.

Condolence: My sympathy to family and friends upon the departure of this lovely man. As a colleague at E.S.S. In the 1970's, I appreciated his welcoming smile and relaxed manner, as well as his obvious dedication to his students. Good to know he was surrounded by loved ones as he was leaving this world.

Condolence: Sue and family

We are in South Carolina at the present time but we do want you to know we are thinking of you. We were shocked to read of Vic's passing. He was a great guy and a highly regarded teacher who really cared about his students. I must say, we love his sense of humour and that little smile that would appear when he "got ya". You are in our hearts.

Condolence: Very sad news. All of my children (Paul, Lenore, Earl) had Mr. Kuisma as a teacher, and all three adored him. I remember a parent-teacher conference when I was telling him about our family's respect for living things, even spiders. He agreed that living things were important and should not be randomly killed.
He was a fine person and will be missed.

Condolence: I am very saddened to hear about the passing of Vic,'Mr. Kuisma'. He was a dear neighbour and close friend to my family. I have many fond childhood memories of growing up around the Kuisma family home with all the neighbourhood kids, making forts in the forest, tractor tire swings and wild goose chases! I always looked up to Vic with both respect and admiration. I will keep those memories close to my heart.

Sue, Christine, Dawn and Mike, my sincere condolences and thoughts are with you all. Andy

Condolence: We both remember Mr Kuisma as a great chemistry teacher over 40 years ago at Ernestown. I remember his smile and patience making class interesting. Really great to learn today that he was a recipient of the Prime Ministers Award for Teaching Excellence. He touched the lives of countless students. Sincere condolences to his family.
