Condolences

Condolence From: Amanda Middleton
Condolence: To the family of Dr. Muncey, your Mom was the Anesthetist at Hotel Dieu Hospital every time my husband, Steve, had to undergo surgery for polyps in his throat; a process that started around 1993/94 and continued until his death in 2007 at the age of 34. During one summer he was going under bi-weekly to have the polyps removed by Dr. Don MacNaughton. I just came across a letter your Mom wrote to me after Steve's death and decided to take to Google to look her up. I am so sorry to learn that I am so late to have connected with her but wanted to let you know that I still think of her very often and fondly for the way she treated not just Steve, but myself and our eventual two children, as family. We likely saw her more often than our own families at times! Please know that she made an amazing impact on our lives that will never be forgotten.

Condolence: Karen, Sybil and Gavin. I'm truly sorry for the delayed condolence , but above all, i was so very sorry to learn of the loss of the wonderful soul i remember your mom to be. Some of my absolute favourite childhood memories are of course with your mom(and dad) and all of you.(and Fred and Brandi..if i remember correctly? ) The first thing i think of when i remember her, is her very infectious laugh and smile, and always how kind her eyes were. I always LOVED being at your house, and a huge part of that was how welcome i always felt. I cherish ALL of the memories with your family, and still remember them like they were yesterday.. much love from me to all of you

Condolence From: Margaret Frise
Condolence: Sorry to read about Nancy's death. She was wonderfully insightful, very down to earth and I always enjoyed working with her in the OR at HDH. She had a great sense of humour and shared family stories over the years, she was very proud of her children and grandchildren. After a bumpy start, I hope she had some good retirement years. Sincerely-Margaret Frise
