After a long courageous fight with cancer, at the Kingston General Hospital on December 23, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee McLean). Loving father of Kevin of Toronto and Scott (Lori) of Long Sault. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Regan and Reese. Lefty was an avid curler and is on the Wall of Fame at the Kingston Royal Curling Club, he was inducted into the Kingston and District Sports Hall of Fame and a member of the Governor Generals Curling Club. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - "Kingston Chapel" on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to U.H.K.F Cancer Centre or Charity of Choice will be appreciated by the family.
