With a really heavy heart, I share some perspective about Cecil Servage and the IMPACT he had on others and certainly myself. 40 years ago I met this cute gal (Lynn) who quickly introduced me to my future father-in-law who accepted me into his family. At such a young age, I had no idea what I was getting into with Cecil and it has been so amazing, great and memorable. Having Cecil involved in the lives of the family, our friends and myself is impossible to describe, but so easy to feel. Cecil was an amazing man that was so interested in his family and friends. He was "sort of" patient, very smart, hard working, super kind, proud, generous and had a significant impact on so many. Everything he did was for his family ... everything. From my perspective, he ran the best handyman business in Kingston and the best unofficial taxi driving business for his grandchildren. He never arrived late to pick up one of his grandchildren and came hours early for a family gathering. He just marched through our front door and began his magic by being interested in what was going on in the lives of others. Cecil had so many attributes and one of his finest talents was that he always had time for everyone. He communicated often by his actions, not just his words. It was amazing how all of his family (and friends) thought they were the "favorite", because his actions made everyone believe that they were the favorite. No doubt about it, Cecil was a gift and I personally appreciate how fortunate I was to have got to be around him for 40 years! We will always love you Cecil and will always have so many great memories. You taught us all so much #RIPCECIL Love Billie (one of your many favorites)
