Condolence: I met Claire at Keewaydin Camp and Ojibway Lodge in the early 1990s. I had taken an interest in maintaining and developing the Nature Nook Museum she created for the campers. Our friendship developed over the years and it was not surprising to find roadkill, birds eggs and other natural artefacts in the mail for my own spin off, the Castor Creek Nature Nook. I would occasionally get a last minute phone call telling me to expect the delivery of a four foot tall osprey nest or something similar. I throughly enjoyed visiting her home and spending time on Lake Scugog with Bill Kerrick’s Canada Geese.

I regret losing touch with her and think of her fondly.
