Joanne - my friend

Every few years I try to find Joanne. I don't usually succeed. I did find her maybe 10 years ago and tried to set up a meeting, but Joanne was reluctant. She said she had health difficulties and thought she was not pleasant to look at, and in the end she would not meet up with me. I was quite disappointed and tried to persist, but to no avail. About 10-15 years before we did meet up, but it seems our lives were not aligned and Joanne would not follow up with more contact. Today's search is not a happy discovery to make. We were students together at Bayside Secondary, and we must have shared a class together in order for us to meet up - but i don't remember that detail.  We became good friends. Joanne was new to the Belleville area, having come from Toronto, and moved to be with her mother who was now in this area. She was a bit older than me, and taught me a lot about life. I still remember her laughing at me in my naivete when I realized more than one life truth. We were bridesmaids for each other's way-too-young-marriages.Joanne had a beautiful laugh, was wise beyond her years and a very good friend. I am so saddened to see only one other message here, and hope she had some family at her service and friends. I wish I had known, I would have been there for her, and so wish we could have reconnected. If I can find the photos of our weddings I will upload them. Joanne - you will not be forgotten.
