Gilbert, Effie Pauline (nee Moore) - With sadness we announce the death of Effie Gilbert ( nee Moore ) at The John M Parrott Centre on Sept 27, 2016 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Wm. Gilbert. Predeceased by her parents Clarence Moore and Bessie Moore, her sister Zella Moore and brother Bill Moore. Remembered for her love, generosity, sense of humor and quick wit by sisters-in-law Marilyn Moore, Victoria BC, Evelyn Gilbert Belleville Ont. and her nieces and nephews East Coast to West Coast and Taiwan. The family is deeply grateful to caregivers at The John M Parrott Centre and her long time friends, Thorpe Holden and Gladys Lee for their kind and loving care. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON, K7R 1G1), on Friday October 21, 2016 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with service to follow in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
