Bush; Shirley Jane (nee Mott) - Following a sudden stroke, our dear mother Shirley Jane Bush (nee Mott) passed away on palliative care at Hillsdale Estate in Oshawa in her sleep on Monday, May 6, 2019. Shirley was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband of 65 years; Earle, and her only brother Douglas. She was the most caring and loving mother to Susan Burnell-Jones (Freddie Litwack) of Ottawa, Allan Bush (Patricia) of Whitby and Thomas Bush (Jayne) of Guelph. Loving Gamma to Alison, Amy and Andrew Burnell-Jones (Sheila), Joanne Lavoie (Stephen), Jennifer Bush (John Pollard) and Emma Bush (Michael Keepance). Great-Grandmother to Thomas and Isaac Lavoie, Damian Burnell-Jones, Ava Grace and Fawkes Burnell-Jones, Jack Pollard and Poppy Keepance. Shirley will be missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and her many friends she has made during her lifetime. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Riverine in Napanee, Amica Retirement Homes in Whitby, and the amazing staff where she spent her last days at Hillsdale Estate in Oshawa. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 1:00 pm.
