July 11, 1942 - December 9, 2022
Passed away peacefully on beautiful sunny day surrounded by his family at Trillium Retirement Residence, on Friday, December 9, 2022 with lots of love, respect, and admiration. Beloved husband of 58 years to Christina Lang Clarke Perry. Loving father to Lyle Clarke (Shirley), Ronnie Clarke (Sandra), Santina Serson (Bob), Gordon Perry (Kim Borgerink) and Byron Perry (Sharon). Proud grandfather of Kristopher, Joseph, Justin Ford, Jillian, Hope, Meghan, Pearl, and Grace. Fondly remembered by Wendy and Laurel. Caring brother to Barbara McCormack and Marjorie Kelsey (Lou). Predeceased by parents Byron James Perry and Marjorie Eleanor Wartman, as well as his sisters Betty Hannah, Beatrice Nickolson- Osborne, and his brother Edmund Perry.
Bob was a long time resident of Newburgh and a veteran of the Strathcona Paper Company for over 30 years.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday December 16, 2022 at Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held the following day on Saturday December 17, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 11am, with burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery and reception at Wartman Funeral Home afterwards.
