Obituary

Molaro; Reginald Thomas "Reg" December 19, 1929 - October 15, 2019
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved Husband, Father, Uncle, Grampa, Poppa, Step-Father and Friend. Reg passed away suddenly at his home with his loving family by his side at the age of 89. Beloved husband to Sandra Hinch-Molaro (nee Brown) and the late Gladys Molaro (nee Barlow), cherished father to Dawna Poffley, Maria Molaro-Lachance (R.J.), beloved Grampa to Joshua and Danielle Lachance and Poppa to Nicole Poffley. Dearest Uncle to nieces Jeannette Molaro, Yvonne Evoy and the late Elaine Welch. Reg will be fondly remembered by Sylvia Robertson, Jim Hinch (Wendy), Fraser (Barb) Hinch and their families, as well as good friends from Westbrook. Blue, the family cat will miss Dad’s lap and cuddles. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Minnie Molaro, sister Norma Welch and brother Lorne Molaro. He retired in 1985 as a Project Manager with the Ministry of Transportation after 37 years; then spent a decade as a consultant with Kostuch Engineering. He finally hung up his set square and retired. Reg loved to travel, was an avid golfer, hunter/fisherman and woodworker. He excelled in many hobbies especially watercolour painting, chip carving, furniture making and stained glass. Family and friends will be received at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11:00am. Interment will be at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens following refreshments. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque or credit card to the UHKF or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com.
