Godfrey; Ray Ashley - Passed away surrounded by family at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital in Napanee on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in his 84th year. Cherished by his wife of 61 years; Valrie Godfrey (nee Kellar). Loving father to Margueritte Eden (Rod) of Selby, Esther Thomas (Rick) of Napanee, Helena Harker (Jeff) of Selby, Marty Godfrey (Colleen) of Napanee, Lisa Pittman (Barry) of Belleville and Tammy Babcock (Sean) of Kingston. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tara Bruce (Nathan), Paul Godfrey (Elizabeth), Stephanie Harker (Andrew), Kelly Godfrey, Trey Eden, David Harker (Madi), Ryan Godfrey, Raven Godfrey and Brett Godfrey. Adored by his great-grandchildren Hailey Bruce, Camden Bruce and Kinsley Harker-Dekroon. Dear brother of Isabelle Tice, Dorothy Conway, Marilyn Rooney, Ronnie Godfrey and Leo Godfrey (Sharon). Predeceased by his parents Ashley and Mary Godfrey and 11 siblings. Ray will be remembered fondly by his in-laws Ernest Kellar (Ruth), Doug Kellar (late Marg) and late Rubena Kellar. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment Newburgh Cemetery at a later date.
