Obituary for Phyllis Marguerite Wilson (Weese)

Wilson, Phyllis Marguerite (nee Weese)

Passed away at home on March 9, 2023 at the age of 88. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald and will be dearly missed by her children Paul (Lorraine) Wilson, Joan (Kevin) McNaughton and the late Debbie (Paul (Cathy)) Legere. She will always be in the hearts of her grandchildren Amanda (Andrew), Mark (Kayla), Ashley (Dylan), Scott (Christina), Andrew (Krissy), Shawn (Laura), Amey (Kaitlin), Rebecca (Kyle) and Eric, her great grandchildren Benjamin, Madelyn, Bradley, Wells and Luke and her step great grandson Rowan. Phyllis was also predeceased by her brothers Robert (Winnifred) and Keith (Idelle) Weese. She will be fondly remembered by her brother in law Gerald (late Elaine) Wilson and Dorothy (late Carl) Wilson, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Phyllis grew up on a farm in Centreville until she was 18 at which time she married her high school sweetheart and moved to the big city of Kingston. Her three children were born in Kingston as Ronald and Phyllis opened an insurance office there. When Ronald was promoted within the company, he and Phyllis packed up their children and moved to the even bigger city of Toronto. Even though Phyllis and Ronald stayed in the Toronto area and eventually Markham, their hearts were always in the country north of Napanee and their beloved cottage on Beaver Lake. So it is fitting that Phyllis will be reunited with Ronald next to the Wilson farm in Reidville where they will be together with their daughter Debbie and “home” again.

There will be a visitation from 10-11 am followed by a service for Phyllis at the Wartman Funeral Home Napanee on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow then Interment at Reidville Cemetery.
