Babcock, Norman Ganford - Longtime Employee of Gibbard Furniture Shop, Napanee. It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Norman on January 31, 2019 in his 90th year at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. Loving husband and soulmate to Marian (nee Bebee). Cherished father to Judy Hicks (Clayton) of Napanee. Devoted grandfather to Jamie Harrington (Devin) of Napanee and Christopher Hicks (Jade) of Kingston. Proud G.G. to Gage and Lane Harrington and Rowan and Carson Hicks. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Myrtle Babcock and sisters Lorraine Babcock and Kathleen Moore. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel. Memorial donations are greatly appreciated by the family and can be made by cheque or credit card to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation. Our sincere condolences to Marion and family on the passing of Norm. He will be remembered fondly from our lunch visit to Napanee in 2017, and as a longtime childhood friend to Bill and Jim Cowie (Plumley) previously of Napanee.
