Suddenly, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Friday April 15, 2016 at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Harry Shook. Loving mother of Kenneth (Roxanna Makin), Robert, Thomas, Gail Shook (Paul Ruttan), Debbie Shook, Terry (Cheryl), Scott (Pam) and Valerie Shook (RJ). Caring grandmother of Nicole, Chantelle, Kirk, Dawn-Marie, Alex, Shana, Koreen, Kareem, Shawn, Ryan, Trevor, Thomas, Melissa and Petrea. Sadly missed by her 16 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Grace and Peggy. Predeceased by her brother Edward and her sisters Edith and Lucy. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Road at Taylor Kidd Blvd, Kingston, K7M 5H2 (613-634-3722) on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 7 - 9 p.m and on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
