Obituary for Madge Hollis
Hollis, Mary Madeline "Madge" (nee Kent)
C.W.L member for 82 years.
After a long and fruitful life Madge died on Sunday, April 3, 2022 in her 98th year at The John M Parrott Centre.
Left to reminisce memories are her sons, Reg (Penny), and David (Sandy), and her nine grandchildren Angela (Gerald Meilleur), Andy, Lisa, Laura (Shalle Lukye), Lana (Kelly Coston), Ryan (Skylar Tooth), Michael (Becky), Matthew and Mallory (Brandon Steacy). Grandma Hollis cherished her fourteen great grandchildren Shayne, Riley, Zachary, Owen, Evan, Kayman, Sypris, Kohve, Kage, Kapri, Jack, Reid, Oliver and Blake.
She will be truly missed by her brother Leo Kent (Marion) and her sister Mary Gillott (Glen) and many nieces and nephews.
Madge was predeceased by her husband Reg (1982) her son John (2011) and his wife Shelley (1991), her parents Joseph and Estella Kent, her sister Kay Coathup-Myers and her brothers Jack, Bernard (Barb) and Francis (Edna).
Visitation will be held at Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee on Friday, April 8, from 2-4 and 7-9. and Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 179 West Street, Napanee on Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to L&A Hospital Foundation or The Alzheimer Society.
The family also requests that everyone wears a mask to both the visitation and the funeral service.
