Caird-West, Marjorie Eileen "Midge" - 1932-2015 Retired employee of Loblaws.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother in her 83rd year after a short and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, January 16, 2015. Beloved wife of Charles West. Loving mother of Cheryl (Steven) Brown, Tracy (Bill) Irwin and Kim Robinson. Loving grandmother of Mark (Terri) Brown, Nicole (Jamie) Hearns, Ryan & Blair Irwin, Jacqueline (Jamie) and Blake Robinson. Loving great grandmother of 10 children. Predeceased by her husband Merrill (Mike) Caird and her parents Kenneth and Dorothy Ramsay, as well as sister Lorraine Osborne. Survived by her brothers Robert (Diane) Ramsay and James (Gina) Ramsay. Midge had a full life enjoying travelling, golfing and her family. She volunteered her time as a Sunday School Superintendent from 1976-1987 at Trinity United Church in Verona. Also 25 years between Prince Charles (Verona) and Elginburg Public Schools known as Grandma Midge to everyone there. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Trinity United Church, 6689 Highway 38, Verona. Interment Verona Cemetery.
