Sherk, Marie Joyce (nee Thompson) - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on January 12, 2015 in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Carl Sherk. Dear mother of David Sherk (Irene) of Arnprior, Deborah Graham (Mike) of Toronto, Michael Sherk of Kanata and James Sherk (Sheila York) of Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Trevor and Connor. Fondly remembered by her sister Helen Falon (Clayton) of Amherstview. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Lines and Juanita Malanuk and brother Glen Thompson. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston) on Thursday January 15, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sue Paterson of St. Andrew's By-The-Lake United Church officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Marie made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated by the family.
