Marcy passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Village Green long term care residence. Marcy’s intense love for her family was limitless. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Pamela Schmidt (Andrew), her adored grandchildren Kate Craigen (Tim), Jordan Rothwell, Emma Schmidt and her charming great-grandson Henry Craigen. She will be dearly missed by her siblings; Mary Ellen Forbes (John), Neil Doherty (Susan), Raymond Doherty (Mireille), John Doherty (Wendy) and brother-in-law Mike McNally. Predeceased by her husband James Hawkins, parents John and Margaret Doherty and sister Theresa McNally. Aunt Marcy will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care Marcy received by the staff at Village Green. It was of great comfort to know she was so well cared for.
Arrangements entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee. As per Marcy’s wishes, a private family graveside interment will take place.
