Obituary for Laurie Blanche Simkins (Cumpson)
Suddenly in Kingston on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in her 60th year.
Forever remembered by her son Vernon Simkins (Robyn) and his father Eric Simkins both
of Kingston. Sister of the late Debbie Kirst (Doug) of Toefield, Alberta, Coral Anne Cumpson of Kingston, Tom Cumpson (Sandi) of Smiths Falls, Harold Cumpson (Sandra) of Harrowsmith, and Rod Cumpson
(Wendy) of Godfrey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pedeceased by her mother Shirley Challes (2015), father Edward Cumpson (1982) and stepfather Alfred Challes (2013).
A private family graveside service was held at Piccadilly Cemetery.
A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations
by cheque or credit card to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation
