McGinn, Larry Keith – Longtime employee of Amherst Roofing and Sheet Metal (48 yrs.). Passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 64. He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Trudy (nee Brownell) of 22 years. Loving father of Terry of Amherst Island, Tricia McGinn (Andy) of Amherstview and step son Bill Swerbrick (Lindsay) of Moscow. Caring grandfather of Mariah, Jayden, Jackson, Clayton, Charlee and Colesen. Cherished son of Cora and the late Keith McGinn and son-in-law of late Craig Brownell and Virginia Page (late Gary). Dear brother of the late Terry (Susan) of Amherst Island, Eric (Janice) of Amherst Island, late Yvonne, Leon (Joanne) of Amherstview, and Kelly (Maureen) of Amherst Island. He will be lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sadly missed by his brother and sister in-laws Ken Brownell, Stuart Brownell, and Tracey Kinnear. Predeceased by his nephew Troy. Larry was very much an outdoorsman. He enjoyed anything outdoors. Larry loved hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and riding around in his buggy, but whatever was going on he cherished the people he did them with.Family was everything to Larry, from Friday and Saturday night gatherings to the cherished times he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. Larry was always available to anyone in need. Celebration of Life service will take place when the COVID restrictions are lifted. Interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Amherst Island.
