Obituary for Kenneth James Martin

Martin, Kenneth James – It is with great sadness to announce that Kenny unexpectedly passed away on Friday, February 14th, 2020 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, KGH, at the age of 74. He is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie (Tarrant) of 53 years. Cherished father of Marcie Martin (Shannon Scott) and Trina Martin-Lucas (David Lucas). Loving grandfather of Alex and Madison Lucas and Connor Scott. Much loved brother of Dickie (Margie), Eldon (Margaret) and the late Albert (Janet). He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, many extended relatives and leaves behind lifetime friends Betty and the late Carl Snider, Pat and Robert Chase, Pansy and the late Terry Finn, George and Doris Daniels, fellow golfers “The Duffers”, Odessa Bowling League and many other wonderful friends. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary Martin. A special thank you to the many nurses, doctors and staff of KGH. The family would like to sincerely thank all of their dear friends and extended family for the love and support they have received at this difficult time.

Friends and family will be received at the Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston Chapel, 980 Collins Bay Road, on Thursday, February 20th, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and Friday, February 21st, from 12:00-1:30 pm followed by The Liturgy of Word in the Chapel at 1:30 pm. Private Interment to be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Kenny’s memory may be made to the Wolfe Island Fire Department, Wolfe Island Community Centre or the charity of your choice. The Family of the late Kenny Martin would like to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and caring support that we received from many relatives, friends and neighbours during our recent bereavement.
