Rogers; John William - Passed away suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 75. Loving husband of 42 years to wife Jenny (nee Shmayda). Loving father to Terri Nicholson of Sydenham, Steve Halladay of Sydenham, Vicki Preece (Stan) of Smiths Falls, Amanda Rogers of Lansdowne and Bryan Rogers (Erin) of Kingston. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Josh, Drew, Nick, Curt, Alex, Olivia, Chris, Jake and Sophia and great-grandchildren Tieran, Abby, Lucas, Otter and Ava. Dear brother of Joan O'Brien (Frank) of Wolfe Island, Joe Rogers (Carolyn) of Gananoque, Mary Broeders (Martin) of Oshawa, Audrey Belair (Paul) of Kingston and Frances Chant (Eli) of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. John worked for the City of Kingston as a Mechanic for 26 years and has been a well respected member of the Dirt Racing Community since the mid 1960's.
